Uncle Predictor is an independent project maintained in Portugal. Every message is handled directly by the person who builds the game - there's no call centre and no chatbot.
You'll usually hear back within 1 to 3 working days. On matchdays it may take a little longer.
What to write about
Account problems
You can't sign in, you never received the password recovery email, or you want to change your account's nickname or email address. Include the nickname you're registered with - and never send your password under any circumstances.
Scoring errors
If you think a match was scored incorrectly, write in with the competition, the match, your prediction and the points you were expecting. It's worth checking the rules first: the most common mix-ups are the outcome not stacking with the exact score, and the near miss only existing in the knockout stage.
Wrong results or mixed-up kick-off times
Results and fixtures are synced automatically from football data sources. If you spot a result or kick-off time that doesn't match reality, let us know - these things can be fixed, and the sooner the better, because they affect scoring.
Suggestions and ideas
A good share of the game's current mechanics - the rarity bonus, the notifications before each deadline - came from player suggestions. If you have an idea, it's worth sending it in.
Bringing the game to a big group
If you want to run a league for a company, association or club and need help getting it off the ground, write in explaining the context and roughly how many players you expect. See private leagues.
Personal data and privacy
To exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection or data portability under the GDPR, use the same email address: unclepredictor@gmail.com. Include your nickname so we can identify the account.
To delete your account there's also a direct request on the delete account page. The conditions and timeframes are described in the privacy policy.
What we can't do
- Reopen predictions after the deadline. Deadlines are the same for everyone and there are no exceptions - reopening a prediction after predictions become visible would give an advantage over the other players.
- Change predictions already submitted after a match has locked, for the same reason.
- Give betting advice. We don't make tips for betting money.
